I had so much fun with this. :D First deviation in a while I can confidently say that i won't scrap, and probably my personal best Saiyuki fanart. The request was a picture of Sanzo themed to the song 'Godless' by the Dandy Warhols. (lyrics below) And this is what popped into my head... I hope it's satisfactory!
And if anyone has any glass reflection/rain tips, I'd love to hear them. :|

Amazingly beautiful, hon. Gawd, I'm choked up over this! I'm SO glad that you say you aren't even considering scrapping it! It's so lovely and well done. The way the light shines in through a rainy window, that bored and slightly ticked look on his face that you really brought to life, the way he's so comfortable where he's sitting. The textures are perfect as always. I really feel like I could reach out and stroke a strand of his hair and get that slightly crisp but still soft touch from it. Great blunt finers, wonderful shading and I love the window there... hmm, as for tips on the droplets on the window? Well, it depends on the kind of rain you want. Rain can magnify light and create shadows when it's just clinging to the glass. But if it's raining (particularly hard) the rain creates this streaking affect in the light shining through to the other side.
