So i was doing the no-references, pencil and paper thing for a while, but nothing seemed to stay in my gallery for more than a day until I scrapped it, so I'm back to the old thing. Yeah. I'm more comfortable with straight photoshop anyway... and I figure since I did two Semi-Realism pictures of Sanzo, I might as well do two of everyone else as well....

Beyond fantastic. The soft coloration, the perfect job at making the anatomy perfectly realistic, the translation of the hair, the eyes, the body language... It's absolutely amazing. My extreme compliments to you. I love fanart for this reason. So many people translating their thoughts and ideas about the series into their own unique style... This one is astounding. I hope you don't mind if I got through your gallery and comment. Wowzers.

... and I've wet myself. Wow. WOW. What a delicious bit of work. The coloring job is awesome. I like the feathering/spiky look you gave his hair; hair is something that's impossible for me, so I'm always envious when others manage it well. I also like the softness you chose to give his face. That more than anything goes a long way to making him look realistic. *tucks into her Favorites*

You've managed to pursue this project far enough to be considered a master of this paticular feild of drawing. You should be proud of that. Gorgeous work, neat pose, wonderful backround. And quite deserving of a favorite.

grrr RAAH gojyo looks so sexy tossing a glance back over the shoulder like that, especially with the detail you put into the hair
