Heavy hung the canopy of blue
Shade my eyes and I can see you
White is the light that shines through the dress that you wore
She lay in the shadow of the wave
Hazy were the visions of her playing
Sunlight on her eyes but moonshine made her cry every time

Green is the colour of her kind
Quickness of the eye deceives the mind
Envy is the bond between the hopefull and the damned

K, so I said I'd wait on uploading things until I had all my promised pictures done, but I've been shitting around with this one for so long, that I just wanted to get it up. For
Painter 7 + Photoshop 7 + fucking shitload of hours + lots of random references I can't remember anyway + a few textures I stole from... someone.

I like the background. :) Decided on a less photorealistic approach and a more... fuzzy approach. I dunno, it was a romantic hetero picture :XD: I can't say I've done many of those.
This was one of quite a few attempts at the request, and the only one that I was able to finish. I have another one that's like 95% finished, but it pisses me off, so I don't know if I'll actually post it.
I tried my best to draw Kanan's face, but in the end, this worked out a lot better. Believe me. Ahh... learning experience. :D

Hakkai and Kanan are (c) whoever owns Saiyuki.

The wrinkles and effects are a bit off. Like the wrinkles in the woman's dress make it look like half a dress and one pant leg, try and merge it together a bit more. other than that, it's way better than what I can do.
